Halloween Mocktails with THC Seltzers: 5 Cosmic Party Recipes

What you need: 1 can Blood Orange Seltzer, 2 oz pomegranate juice, a splash of grenadine, ice, and a sugar rim with red sanding sugar.

How to make it: Dip the rim in grenadine, then red sugar. Add ice, pomegranate juice, and the seltzer. Drizzle a little more grenadine down the inside of the glass so it bleeds through the drink slowly. Serve with a plastic fang on the rim if you are committed to the bit.

3. Ecto Slush (Mandarine Lime)

Radioactive green, frosty, and gone in three sips.

What you need: 1 can Mandarine Lime Seltzer, 2 scoops of lime sherbet, lime zest, and crushed ice.

How to make it: Pack a glass with crushed ice, add a scoop of sherbet, and pour the seltzer over it. It will foam and slush on contact. Top with the second scoop, grate lime zest over everything, and serve with a straw. It looks like something a ghost would slug.

4. Galactic Lagoon (Yuzu Lychee)

This one glows under blacklight, no chemistry degree required. Tonic water's quinine fluoresces under UV, giving this drink an eerie blue halo.

What you need: 1 can Yuzu Lychee Sparkling Seltzer, 2 oz tonic water, lychees, and a blacklight.

How to make it: Drop a lychee or two into the glass (stuff a blueberry inside each lychee first for the eyeball effect). Fill with ice, pour the seltzer, top with tonic, and set the blacklight nearby. The drink glows; the eyeballs stare back. Perfect.

5. Cosmic Elixir Sparkler
